Analisis Perubahan Harga Lada Dalam Kesejahteraan Masyarakat di Desa Lubuk Layang Kecamatan Pendopo Kabupaten Empat Lawang

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to find out how the price of white pepper changed in Lubuk Layang Village, Pendopo District, Empat Lawang Regency and to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors of white pepper prices in Lubuk Layang Village, Pendopo District, Empat Lawang Regency. The preseders used in this observation are qualitative methods and data analysis techniques used, namely data reduction, data display, and verivication. The data collection techniques used are through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study show that the results of the pepper harvest and at a fairly high price can experience welfare and can also meet their needs, even though there are several obstacles that occur when carrying out buying and selling activities. Changes in pepper prices in 2021 have experienced price fluctuations.  And the price change in 2022 has increased and at the end of the year, right in September, it has decreased in price. As As for the third year (3) or 2023, the price of pepper has increased quite well and this situation is the same as what was produced when at the location conducting observations and interviews. As for the supporting factors of own land, labor is done alone, the periodicity of sunlight due to the length of hot sunlight helps the pepper drying process to finish quickly and inhibiting factors lack of knowledge and knowledge about pepper cultivation, lack of technological tools in the pepper management process.
